Launched in 2012 as part of the CARE platform aimed at enabling development and career advancement for Hirdaramani Employees, the Supervisor Development Program (SDP) is a comprehensive training program for the supervisor level staff.
The Program was designed to develop the soft skills of Supervisors and the Employee Relations Members of the group. This started with an Outward Bound Training session and was followed by three modular based two-day sessions. After the workshops all participants had to sit for a written exam: a set of MCQs, to test the level of transfer of knowledge during the training sessions, and to understand how well they have grasped the concepts taught. Two modules were done by combining both types of participants, and one was run separately. However, the OBT was run as one whole team - Supervisors plus Employee Relations Members.
